When this policy mentions the practice of our engineering and drafting staff, it refers to the same named developer team. When a specific question concerns code, tracking, cookies or the technical handling of a request, the developer AJDConstruct is the group that owns the answer and the audit trail behind it.

You never have to guess which office holds your information. The legal entity, the address and the contact channels are listed openly in this document and on every main page of the site.

4. Information We Collect

We collect only the categories of information described here. We try, as a discipline and as drafting policy, to minimize what we ask for. That means we collect what the work requires and little more.

The full picture includes contact details such as a name, a business email address, a telephone number and a business or site address. It can include project facts such as the name of a project, its street address, its number, the trade responsible for a scope and the start and finish dates a subcontractor has committed to. It can also include technical records such as the IP address of a device, the type of browser and device used and the pages of our site that were visited.

Where our coordination platforms are deployed for a specific build, the information stored inside those platforms belongs operationally to that project. Our collection is limited to what is necessary to run the schedule, to coordinate the trades and to keep a safe and compliant jobsite log.

5. How Information Is Collected

Information reaches us through several paths, and the path usually explains why we hold it. We receive data directly when you fill in the contact form, email our desk, telephone our office or request a pre construction review. We receive data through the systems we place on your project when a superintendent, a safety officer or a trade lead records an entry in a daily report, a certification log or a coordination thread.

We receive data automatically when a browser loads one of our pages. This automatic collection is described honestly in the cookies section below. We do not hide the collection at the end of a long paragraph, because that practice is the opposite of the drafting discipline we preach on every jobsite.

Finally, we receive data from third parties you have authorized to work with us, such as an owner who sends your subcontracting details to our office before a coordination call.

6. Information You Provide Directly

When you use the enquiry form on this site, we collect the name, the return email address and the message you type into the sheet. 8. Information About Other People

On some projects you may send us information that concerns another person, such as the name and details of a subcontractor contact, a crew member or a site visitor who is expected to attend an orientation. When you do this you confirm that you have the right to share it with us for the stated purpose.

We will not repurpose information about a third party beyond the scope you originated. If a contact you shared later asks how we obtained their details, we can show that the record began with a legitimate coordination request and was used only for that project.

If you believe a colleague or a trade contact has been named on a system without a proper basis, contact us using the channels at the end of this policy and we will correct or remove the entry.

9. How We Use the Information

We put the information we hold to work in ways that serve the project and protect the people on it. Our uses include responding to enquiries, returning your call, preparing a proposal, standing up a schedule system, coordinating subcontractor handoffs and producing the daily records that keep an audit clean.

We also use the information to operate and improve our own tools. That includes training staff, debugging a portal, measuring how a reporting form behaves and ensuring the security of the systems that our clients rely on at the pace of a real construction season.

In every case we apply a simple test: would a reasonable superintendent accept this use? If a use would embarrass an honest field report, we do not pursue it.

10. Lawful Grounds for Processing

Where data protection law requires a stated basis for processing, our grounds are the ones a contracting business would expect. Coordination work cannot happen in a vacuum. On an active build we share limited schedule and location data with the trades that own the adjacent scopes, so that a framing crew and an MEP crew know the order of entry and the handoff condition between them.

What we share is scope level data, not gossip and not confidential owner pricing. A subcontractor sees the start date, the sequence position, the access rules and the submittal items that belong to their package, and they see only the portion of another trade that affects their handoff.

Every party that receives system access is expected to keep the content confidential and to use it solely for the project for which it was issued.

13. Cookies and Browser Technologies

Our public site uses a small number of cookies and similar browser technologies to make pages work and to measure their usefulness. A cookie is a tiny file placed on your device by a website. 15. Retention of Data

We keep personal information only as long as there is an honest reason to keep it. That reason usually comes from the project itself. Enquiry messages sent through the public site are retained while the conversation is active and for a reasonable period afterward so that we can continue to serve the same client without making them repeat themselves.

When a purpose ends, we delete or anonymize the personal information, subject to the retention schedules imposed by law and by the record keeping practices we follow as a licensed business.

16. Security of Personal Data

No method of transmission or storage is completely safe, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. We do promise to use controls proportionate to the sensitivity of the information we hold and to act responsibly when a security issue appears.

17. Cross Border Data Movement

AJD Construction LLC is a United States business. The servers that host this site and the related coordination tools are located in the United States, and the primary administration of your data occurs in this country.

If a vendor processes data for us in another country, that vendor is expected to provide a standard of protection consistent with United States law and with the expectations of the project owner. Where a transfer needs a recognized safeguard, we put one in place before data moves.

We do not treat a foreign data center as a way to avoid a promise made in this policy.

18. Privacy for Children

Our website and its construction systems are directed to adults who work in the building professions. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and we do not market these tools to children. A child is defined in line with United States federal law.

If you believe a child has submitted personal information through one of our forms without a parent on the call, please notify us through the contact channels below and we will remove the record from our active systems promptly.

We will never build a jobsite access or safety profile for a minor, because our services belong to working professionals of lawful age.

19. Your Privacy Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to ask for a copy of it and to request that we correct an error in it. When a law grants a deletion right, you may ask that we remove personal information from our active records, although we may keep what the law requires us to keep for audit or safety reasons.

You may also ask us to stop a particular use of your data where you believe it exceeds the legitimate scope of the work. We will honor a reasonable request and will tell you plainly when a request cannot be honored and why.

21. Utah Consumer Data

We respect a do not sell request from any visitor who sends one, regardless of their state of residence. We will not start renting your name to a broker because you are from a state without a written privacy statute.

If our practices change and a future version of this policy introduces a sale of data, that version will explain the new behavior, the opt out method and the effect of a global signal before any change takes place.

From time to time our pages link to resources that we do not control, such as a building code authority, a supplier catalogue or an industry association. Once you leave our site, this policy no longer governs the behavior of the destination page.

We choose links because we believe they help a contractor build well, not because a partner pays us to drive traffic. The selection of a link does not imply that we endorse every claim made on the target page.

We recommend that you read the privacy notice of any third party website before you share personal information with it. We cannot answer for the practices of pages we do not operate.

25. Third Party Content on Our Pages

A small part of what appears in our scheduling and reporting tools may come from a provider we license, such as a map library or a drawing viewer. That provider may set its own identifiers while a page is open so that its own component works.

Where we can arrange an embedded component to run without tracking, we prefer that quieter mode. Where a component requires an identifier to function, the provider operates under its own notice and we include it only when the benefit to your project is clear.

Questions about a specific embedded tool are welcome at the contact desk and we will name the provider rather than hide behind a vague reference.

26. Incident Handling and Breach Notice

If a security incident ever occurs, our first concern is the safety and the records of the people affected. We maintain a simple incident plan: contain the problem, understand its scope, notify the project owner where the data belongs and then add the lesson back into our daily discipline.

Where the law requires notification of an affected individual or of a regulator, we will give that notice without delay and include a fair description of what happened and what we are doing about it.

We will not bury a genuine breach under a routine marketing email. A breach notice will be itself, clear and unmistakeable for the event it describes.

27. Access, Correction and Removal

You may ask to review the personal information we hold about you and to correct anything that is out of date or wrong. On an active project, the fastest path is through the project coordinator, who carries the context needed to correct a field entry accurately.

29. Historic Projects and Archives

Records from a finished project, including schedules, reports and compliance logs, are often kept past the close of a build. We keep them because a warranty call or an audit question can arrive long after the last punch card was signed.

Access to an archive is tighter than access to a live system. Only people with a legitimate need may open a closed project file, and that need is recorded on the file itself.

An archive is not a graveyard where privacy promises go to die. Every rule in this policy continues to apply to completed work until the record is deleted or anonymized.

30. Changes to This Policy

We update this privacy policy when the law changes, when a system changes or when we find a clearer way to say the same thing. A revised version always carries a new effective date, and the current text is the one that applies to your data from that date forward.

For a change that meaningfully narrows a privacy promise or opens a new use, we will give you more than a buried edit. We will flag the change on the website and, where we have your address, reach out before the change takes effect.

We recommend that you review this page each year, close to the season you begin a new build, so that the policy you relied on is still the policy we are following.
